Don GorvettA graduate of the Museum School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Don Gorvett is identified with his powerful reduction woodcuts. What makes Gorvett's work unique and special is his bold and muscular signature style which infuses each image. Whether ink drawing, watercolor or reduction woodcut, with an enormous vitality that recognizes a point in time, remaining timeless in his interpretation. After spending ten years as resident artist at Stillington Hall in Gloucester, Massachusetts, Mr. Gorvett now resides year-round in Maine. He is a member of the Ogunquit Art Association which exhibits at the Barn Gallery in Ogunquit, Maine. He has served as president of this association of artists. |
