Deborah K. Ellis’ watercolors are inspired by her life and the world in which she lives. Her training in architecture contributes to her strong sense of composition and her love of color and pattern produce the rich designs of her paintings, which communicate a fresh interpretation of the subjects she loves. She is known especially for her paintings of wine, food and flowers and, as a result, for several years Deborah’s watercolors have been licensed by major manufacturers of home décor and gift items as decoration for their products. She is represented by galleries in New York and Vermont and her work is owned by corporate and private collections. Deborah lives on a farm in Vermont with her husband, their Rhodesian Ridgeback, five sheep and one donkey.
